Rambles

I have a pretty posh job. My hours are usually 9-4ish. But, I love days that I need to come in early. Why? Because that means I get to go home early. And, if I come in really early, I reward myself and go home REALLY early. This morning I came in around 6:30. I will definitely leave by 1:00pm or so. It's so nice to have most of the afternoon and the whole evening to enjoy.

We had the best weekend! We have a huge honey-do list going right now, and we were able to check off so many things. We both love being busy with projects, so it was actually really fun for us to be able to leisurely work on projects together. Big things checked off the list: lots of yardwork, sanding/painting a dresser, sealing tile, and shopping for pavestone. Now we just have to put the pavestone in the back patio area sometime this week.

Of course, the most important part of the weekend was watching our precious Sooners beat Washington. The team is looking really good! Next weekend is a bye weekend, so we are thinking we might try to go out of town. We'll see what we come up with.

Speaking of going out of town... It is almost our one-year anniversary. The year has flown by. We have loved being married and don't want this first year to end, though we are excited for the years to come. We are so excited to go out of town on a mini-vacation to celebrate our anniversary. More to come on that later.
