Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween from our family!  We had a ball trick-or-treating and spending time with family and friends.  Benton wore an Elvis costume, albeit against his will (he picked half the rhinestones off in a moment of destruction...ha).  Adelyn wore a purple poodle skirt, and Emery wore a pink poodle skirt.  Benton's introverted side really comes out at times like Halloween, when he would much rather sit on Daddy's shoulders and watch the activity.  Both of the girls, however, were totally into trick-or-treating.  After a few houses, they figured out how to walk up to the door, knock, get candy, and put it in their treat bags...pretty impressive for 15 month olds (who happen to love candy).  What a fun memory!

Carving And Painting Pumpkins

Since all of our kids are obsessed with "pumps", we figured carving pumpkins would be enjoyed by all.  Considering the fact that all three kids are 2 and under, I'd say pumpkin carving was a huge success.  Adelyn was all about it, playing with the seeds and putting her hands in the pumpkin, while Ben and Emery were more interested in watching what was going on (neither liked the feel of the pumpkin's insides).

Grammy also came over for pumpkin carving, and brought each of the kids their own little pumpkin.  We had already painted pumpkins with friends, and since the kids seemed to really enjoy it, we decided to do it again!

Late One Year Pictures

We finally had the girls' One Year pictures taken, and were really happy with how they turned out.  The girls were not interested in smiling or really doing anything other than being attached to mommy and daddy, but we think the pictures turned out REALLY good considering!  Adelyn is wearing the blue cardigan and yellow dress, and Emery is wearing the purple cardigan and pink dress.

Snacking Outside

Since the weather has been nice recently, we've been outside as much as possible.  The kids think it is such a treat to eat their snacks at their picnic table.  They also try to climb on top of their picnic table and jump off, but we won't even go there.  :)

We've Been Booed

Our neighborhood has a really fun Halloween tradition..."booing" your neighbors.  In short, someone leaves fun treats on your doorstep and you then leave fun treats on someone else's doorstep.  I happened to be by our front door when we got booed by a friend, so I was able to show the treats to Ben right before he went down for the night (the girls were already sleeping).  He was THRILLED!  He kept giggling and trying to carry all the treats in his arms.  :)

Sooner Born And Sooner Bred

Boomer Sooner from the Hubbart Family!

Benton knows how to say OU, and he gives Landon high fives with every touchdown.  The girls look adorable in their OU gear and love sitting on the couch with daddy.  Poor Landon barely gets to watch any of the game, but he is such a good sport about it.  :)

Annual Pumpkin Patch Day

Landon took a day off work so that we could take the kiddos to the pumpkin patch!  I think we've been to about every pumpkin patch within a 50 mile radius, but we decided on Orr Family Farm this year, as we thought Ben would love it and there would be a few things for the girls to do.  We paid $40+ (crazy) and had the time of our lives.  :)  Benton's favorite things were the jumping pillow and the huge slides.  His least favorite thing was the hay (pretty sure he has a hay allergy by his incessant scratching).  The girls loved the animals and the pumpkins ("pumps").  We are so glad that we had a few hours to play!!!
