Man Time :)

This past weekend, Landon and Benton camped out in the backyard.  Landon had been talking about this and planning for weeks.  We weren't sure how Ben would do sleeping somewhere other than his crib, but he did great!  Landon said that Ben had a blast!

Once it was dark and they had the tent set up, I sent them outside in their pjs with smores (bunny grahams, dove chocolate, and a marshmallow).  They ate their snack, read some books, and started to wind down.  Landon said it took Ben almost 2 hours to fall asleep because he was so excited to be sleeping in a "blue tent" and kept looking at the "mooonnnn".  Sweet boy!  Ben slept all night, and then they woke up, got dressed, and headed to a donut place to eat chocolate donuts and drink chocolate milk.

Ben had the time of his life and keeps talking about it!  I am so thankful for a husband that is committed to investing in our kids and spending good quality time with them!!!

Our Little Italians

Although our kids love eating Italian food, we don't feed it to them very often.  Italian food=Huge mess!  Here are a few pictures of our sweet kids eating tortellini.  :)  Here are the pictures, in order from the cleanest kid to the messiest kid...

The cleanest kid award goes to...Benton.  Why you ask?  Because he is the pickiest kid.  Love that smile.

And the second messiest kid award goes to...Emery Grace.  She is on her way to being picky like her big brother, but she will still try most things.  Sweet girl. 

And the messiest kid award goes to...Adelyn!  This girl loves to eat (obviously).  She had spaghetti sauce from head to toe, and she loved every minute of it.  Needless to say, she went straight to the shower.  :)
