Big Baby

Somehow Landon and I came across this article. It is about a 4 month old baby boy from Colorado who weighs 17 pounds and is 25 inches long...and was denied health insurance. For the record, Benton is 10 days shy of being 4 months old and is weighing in at about 18 pounds and is 25 inches long (by our measurements).

So sad that an infant can be denied health insurance for obesity (or anything else for that matter)...

I'm so excited we're fellow mommies-of-huge-babies! Trenam weighed in at 19 lbs 15 oz at 4 months. :) I remember seeing that article at some point, and I think I would have to take some legal action if I were them! They obviously aren't informed about what research shows regarding chubby breastfed babies. Older children of course are a different story, but denying health care to children in general should be a crime! I can't wait to see cute little Benton again! :) - Jen V
