Lab Rat: Part 3

Refer to Lab Rat: Part 1 and Lab Rat: Part 2 if you are not familiar with my recent jaunt as a lab rat.

Well, this visit was all about drama. I began the day by arriving at 6:45am to get my exercise on. This might not be early for some, but this is a horribly early hour at our house. :) After exercising for almost an hour (stationary bike, treadmill, and Wii boxing), they began the same torture as visit #2.

The only difference this time was that the power kept going out, and we thought we were smelling fire, and then the fire alarm went off. They herded me outside with my IV and IV pole, and we watched as the parking lot filled up with police cars, and fire trucks, and a hazmat truck. And the lot kept filling, so that there where at least 5 police cars and 5 fire trucks. And then helicopters began flying overhead. I was still attached to my IV pole. :) After about 20 minutes, they decided to release me. They took out my IV in the parking lot, and we put it in a Target bag so that I could take it to the waste area in my clinic. And I had one measley Kleenex to stop the bleeding until I got to my building. Needless to say my shirt and coat were soaked with blood. But, as least I wasn't standing outside of a building with an IV pole in the cold.

Why did I sign up for this?! :)
