Yesterday day was my second appointment as a research patient. I woke up at a really early hour, and headed to campus to begin my time as a lab rat. They told me to wear comfortable clothes, as I would be laying down in a bed for a few hours. Comfortable clothes it was. After arriving, they immediately started torturing me. They made me drink a milkshake, and then they put me in this bubble thing for 20-30 minutes, followed by a 10-20 minute break, for almost 4 hours... AHHH... The bubble was actually neon yellow and was really foggy, so that I couldn't really see out of it. And it hummed, which made me want to fall asleep, but they wouldn't let me. :( This was what I looked like...
This is what I felt like...
While they were torturing me in the astronaut suit, they also took my blood. They might have taken all of it in the 20 or so vials of blood that they stole from me. Vampires.

My next appointment is Wednesday. This time I will be exercising, then drinking my chocolate shake, and then doing the same thing as above. Should be interesting.

How mean that they won't let you sleep! I don't think I would mind the chocolate shake though! :) Now you can say you have a feeling of what it's like to be an astronaut!
